He was an Australian actor and director. Ledger was popularly known for his tremendous acting in the movies “10 Things I Hate About You” ?and ?”The Dark Knight” In the movie ? “10 Things I Hate About You” he played the role of Patrick Verona where he gained confidence in his acting ability, he then went on to play as the mentally unstable villain The Joker in the movie ? ” The Dark Knight”. ?Heath ledger thought that landing the role as The Joker was a dream come true but now many people around the world think that it could have been a nightmare that led to his unfortunate death. Heath ledger was a very devoted actor who loved his work and was very passionate about it. In order to master his character as The Joker he locked himself in a hotel room ?and devoted all his time to bring about those negative and dark traits he needed to play this character.

In 2007 he said in an interview, ? ?"It's a combination of reading all the comic books I could that were relevant to the script and then just closing my eyes and meditating on it. I sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices – it was important to try to find a somewhat iconic voice and laugh. I ended up landing more in the realm of a psychopath – someone with very little to no conscience towards his acts.

I think that the movie could have been better if the director did not conform to the cliche norms of teen movies where the girl finds out that the guy was not really into her from the beginning but was in it for a bet in this case he was in it for the money. The story line is amazing and the cast is was top class.

The cast featured the late Heath Ledger who helped make the movie come to light.
