Violations of religious freedom are often cited people both at home and abroad. For Example In the Kashmir region, approximately 300 Kashmiri Pandits were killed between September 1989 to 1990 in various incidents. In early 1990, local Urdu newspapers Aftab and Al Safa called upon Kashmiris to wage jihad against India and ordered the expulsion of all Hindus choosing to remain in Kashmir. In the following days masked men ran in the streets with AK-47 shooting to kill Hindus who would not leave. Notices were placed on the houses of all Hindus, telling them to leave within 24 hours or die.

The separatist group National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) has proclaimed bans on Hindu worship and has attacked animist Reangs and Hindu Jamatia tribesmen in the state of Tripura. Some resisting tribal leaders have been killed and some tribal women raped.According to The Government of Tripura, the Baptist Church of Tripura is involved in supporting the NLFT and arrested two church officials in 2000, one of them for possessing explosives.

In late 2004, the National Liberation Front of Tripura banned all Hindu celebrations of Durga Puja and Saraswati Puja. The Naga insurgency, militants have attempted to exploit Christian ideological base for their cause. In Orissa, starting December 2007, Christians have been attacked in Kandhamal and other districts, resulting in the deaths of two Hindus and one Christian, and the destruction of houses and churches.

Hindus claim that Christians killed a Hindu saint Laxmananand, and the attacks on Christians were in retaliation. However, there was no conclusive proof to support this claim. Twenty people were arrested following the attacks on churches. Similarly, starting 14 September 2008, there were numerous incidents of violence against the Christian community in Karnataka.Evidently, in the riots there were several religious facilities, such as building places of worship (churches, mosques, prayer rooms), and educational institutions belonging to certain religious groups damaged, destroyed, or burned.

This means the issue of religion has high sensitivity regarding beliefs and are transcendental. Then the legitimacy of religious, non- religious issues can trigger inter-religious conflict, where and when can occur if there is not a conflict resolution as soon as possible. It is necessary for institutions such as tolerance and solidarity among religious, for the realization of the essential harmony and productive.

Now, these religious communities are faced with the challenge of the emergence of conflicts and conflicts between them. The most actual is inter-religious conflict. The potential outbreak of conflict is enormous, amounting distinctions humanity into the boundaries of objective and subjective civilization.

According to Samuel P. Huntington, the elements of the objective barrier are language, history, religion, customs, and institutions. Limiting element is the identification of human subjectivity.

CausesHindutva is a nationalist ideology which promotes the idea of a Hindu state; proponents of Hindutva believe that the dominant Hindu culture should be adopted as the Indian national identity and that other groups should adjust their practices accordingly. (IRF Report, 2002) Like many forms of nationalism, it plays upon the pride and fear of the majority group and attempts to demonise supposedly threatening minorities. There are several potential conflicts, among others: 1. Prejudice; is the result of a process of interaction between individuals and groups shape attitudes, perceptions, IIIways of thinking and feeling towards another person or group.

2. Ethnocentric; a certain ethnic groups tend to feel better than others and even feel the best. 3.

Discrimination; originated from the ethnocentric prejudice fanatic who will then bring the arrangements as IIIstereotypes of other groups, for profit-oriented economic and political. 4. Economic disparities; due to differences in excess of the economic resources, resulting in the accumulation of IIIwealth to a person or group, while another person or group is slumped and poor. The conflict among the religious communities can arise caused by excessive religious emotion, the feeling of being threatened with each other, the displacement between religion, the establishment of houses of worship are less qualified, the pet disturb public tranquility and others. Causes are also sensitive is the information of the establishment of a particular religion which is becoming adherents of other religions.

Here it means developing an attitude that equates the term religion with ethnicitySome other factors like Elections has caused the conflicts among the religious groups. the state elections immediately following the 2002 Gujerat massacres gave the BJP its largest electoral victory ever. There is evidence that the conflict was planned by BJP members prior to the elections to prove their standing as the main advocate of Hindu interests. (Brass, 200: 11) Government address lists of Muslim residents were provided to the rioters and many witnesses claimed that the police failed to intervene or sided against the victims. (Fickett, 2003: 7; IRF Report, 2002) Both the state and federal governments (controlled by the BJP) failed to intervene to stop the conflict or to bring perpetrators satisfactorily to justice. (Fickett, 2003:3)The religious conflict of the 1990s and since, can be seen as part of the wider political context in India.

Violence was a result of BJP politicisation of religion at the time when Congress had become too weak to control and repress divisive politics as it had done in the past. (Dion-Viens, 2002)Conclusion:-At last, I might want to include my perspectives that India in tremendous nation having individuals of relatively every religion ,which makes it the enormous multicultural nation. In India everyone is allowed to pick their religion of loving yet the genuine clash is caused by two main considerations: Elections and compelling the religion on individuals. I have contended that India is as of now encountering an influx of religious clash impelled by the ascent of Hindu patriotism, or Hindutva.

Albeit ordinarily clarified by old feelings of resentment, the contention is essentially a result of a particular political setting. Hindutva is a type of patriotism which advances communalism. It displays its own particular perspective of history and legislative issues in which the Hindu greater part are mistreated and disregarded for different gatherings, and serves to legitimize brutality against Muslims who are viewed as a danger. It rose to unmistakable quality with regards to the factionalisation of legislative issues and the decay of the prevailing Congress Party by purposely politicizing religious contrasts and sorting out viciousness against Muslim people group.

Nonetheless, religious clash in India has been very limited. Mainstream Indian national personality and the presence of blended religion associations in common society have ended up being exceptionally viable in beating mutual pressures. The feeble political position held by the BJP in central government likewise directs its approach. All in all, the essential purposes behind religious clash in India are the deliberate blending up of religious scorn and the rise of a political setting in which this can turn into a capable power.
