There is only one God, maker of life and the universe. And then there is man, created in the image and likeness of God. Man, from the very beginning, desires to be like the Most High. He is always discontent with his present state, as if it was not so good as it might be and should be. He seeks preferment, as if he is fit to be god. It is also inherent in man to attempt to discover the mysteries of life. Through scientific and technological research, man’s desire for knowledge continues through the present time.
It is true that science is beneficial to mankind and its advancement; but it can also be dangerous if performed without control and thought to the effects it can have on humanity. As a result, man risks endangering everything he holds dear, including himself.
