The company’s operational goal for The Disneyland Resort is to minimize Water use. They have developed Water Conservation Plans to help devise a way to recycle the water they use and increase their availability of potable, or drinkable, water. Disneyland has worked with the Orange County Water District and built a way that would allow the resort to recycle the water that they use by sending it down towards their storm drains into the Groundwater Replenishment System, to be reused. The resort also equipped their bathrooms with low-flow toilets, soreheads, and faucets to help conserve water. Effects on Stakeholders The Walt Disney Company’s internal stakeholders include its Board of Directors, investors, management, and employees.

The effect of planning decisions on the internal stakeholders especially the Board of Directors and management is that they would have to plan and decide how to proceed in achieving their goals. As for employees, they have to be the role models. An employee forking for Disneyland resort will not be taken seriously by the public if they were the first ones abusing and wasting water. The external stakeholders, on the other hand, do not have any control over the decision- making over the company.

Conclusion It is very much well-known that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. It would have to be if they want to be true to their vision statement: To make people happy. But not only are they focusing on the short time that they can provide a smile to a child.
