The chapter briefly describes the perspective of FinancialInclusion in around the world, India and Haryana and its impact on rural poor.The second chapter titled ‘Review of Literature’ covers research work carriedout by various researchers in the field of financial inclusion in general andrural population in particular. The chapter three has presented the rationale,objectives and hypotheses of the study.

The chapter four titled ‘ResearchMethodology’ consists of Introduction, Research Design, Statement of Problem,Research Paradigms, Research Approach, Sample Design, Size and Selection,Research Tools, Pilot Study, Respondents Population, Procedure, DataCollection, Data Analysis and Limitations of the study. The fifth chapter titled’Data Analysis and Interpretation’ is divided into seven sections i.e.

DemographicProfile of Respondents (Users), Awareness of Rural People about FinancialServices and Products, Frequency of Availing the Financial Products/Services,Satisfaction Level towards the Financial Products/Services, Reason for Usingthe Banking Facilities and Factors Considered While Selecting and Transactingwith the Banks are the sub point of users. Demographic Profile of Respondents(Non-Users) and Reasons for not availing the Financial Products/Services is thesecond point. The third point is related to reasons for dormancy in NoFrills Accounts. The fourth point describe the Profile of Bank Managers,Details on Financial Inclusion, Difficulties faced by banks while adoptingfinancial inclusion, Factors Responsible for the Current Status of FinancialInclusion, Banks Strategies for the Progress of Financial Inclusion. Test ofHypothesis, Extent and Coverage of Financial Inclusion and Findings as perobjectives are other points of chapter.The chapter six is divided into three parts-summary, conclusion and recommendations.

The summary of the complete thesis ispresented in this chapter. The conclusions have been drawn in the light of theobjectives and salient findings. The recommendations made to take care of theobservations based on the experiences gathered during the work. Thepropositions have been made to explore all those dimensions of the field of thestudy which could not be covered under the scope of the present work.

The chapter seven deals with Implication of thestudy for the practitioners and researchers in the area of financial ingeneral. The references have been presented in a standard format followed by anappendix having a sample questionnaire used for the data collection and glossaryof terms.
