Over the years, technologists have developed and refined electronic response systems that permit students to key in responses using transmitters, cell phones, or laptops. the main advantages of electronic response systems for gathering feedback are the anonymity of responses, and the ability to instantly project response graphs overhead for the class to see. Electronic response systems can also store response data for future analysis and assessment.
It is not until the periodic quizzes time that the instructor can assess the proficiency of the entire class. Previous analysis showed that students attention spans throughout lectures is usually fifteen minutes long and after that their attention will drop dramatically. Therefore, breaking up the lecture into distinct sections can refresh the student’s mind and help to keep them engaged. to engage students, and have a real time assessment of student’s understanding, the use of class Response Systems have been increasing in several universities (Prince, 2014).
