Morality is the difference between good and evil. It is the determination of what should be done and what should not be done; or what is right and what is wrong.

Morality deals with both behaviors and motivations. All people live according to a set of moral concepts, especially for religious people. This is clearly evident in The Crucible by Arthur Miller. This is the Puritan city of Salem, Massachusetts, and the witch hunt. Many people are falsely accused of witchcraft.

Individual moral integrity and its absence are exemplified by Arthur Miller in his work The Crucible. The fear of witchcraft surrounds Puritan society and thus creates a rule of the population. The fate of the city depends on the morality of its people. John Proctor and the Reverend Hale are key figures in the condemnation of witch trials; Abigail, Judge Danforth and his supporters are in power. Although the trials should end with the release of Salem from the alleged witchcraft, the responsibility of the individual was to ensure that the majority was not completely overthrown by mass hysteria.In this story, key people must make decisions that challenge their beliefs and ethics.

They must choose to do the right thing and fight the lie or do something wrong and yield to the lie to save their lives. Elizabeth Proctor is one of those people who fought for the truth, then she; In my opinion, he is the most moral person in history. If her husband has to decide whether he has murdered or confessed a witch, she does not want him to give in to a corrupt and unfair society.

The lack of moral integrity shown by the characters in the play creates a chain of destructive events. Because of Reverend Paris’ concern for socialism and political power, the actions of Abigail and her supporters go unpunished. This puts the city of Salem in a whirlwind of lies.

A domino effect affects the multiplication of charges. Abigail, at the wheel of the plot, receives worshipers. This group has no respect for himself or for others.
