The technology of a wood planer was developed first in the ancient city of Rome and still used nowadays. historically the world have revealed comparatively more modern planers, with time and technology planers have undergone several enhancements and development, starting from a simple hand planer evolve into well-known wood planer machine.

This project aim was to develop a mini machine for designing prototypes from wood with features such as sanding and planer. Using this prototype, the consumer will get more associated to the “actual feel” of the system, since the interactions with prototyping will alter the consumer to higher perceive to the necessities of the required system. Prototyping is an attractive plan for complex and huge systems, which gives an overall view of a working system.

That is why a wood planning machine is therefore targeting foreign market, which will help to wider our export. IntroductionIt is very difficult to imagine the world without wood production. Started from a simple saw tool, nowadays we have an incredible wood design machines, we can design a wide range of products and use it in several purposes.

Today everyone uses wood products such as building materials, furniture, paper, tools, weapons, and more which has large parameters somehow made by large machine, however, large machines cannot get micro parameters that’s why there is a demand on accurate mini machines. Updated with the new technology science investing on the new types of wood machines, searching for a new way to make small modules, make better surface quality, create less expensive equipment and reduce waste. However, a planer is a limited tool that cannot make a features like sanding, which is impossible to make a product without these features.

Therefore, you would need the use of other machines that has these features so a demand for a wood machine with a full package of features is needed. My project is bringing all these features in one part where I am creating a mini wood planer.Aims – to develop a mini wood machine based on a wood planer with wider range of features.

This is a widely used operation, which is implied in both companies’ products. Sanding: is a powerful tool used for smoothing surfaces by abrasion with sandpaper. It is a very important feature in wood production for finishing surfaces and providing it with a smooth finish.Cutting: is use to separate or to make a gap of a physical component, into two or more portions, through the application of a directed force.

The differences between the company’s products:Combined features: a machine that can make more than one operation. Size: it is an important feature to improve performance or meet specific requirements.Small size machine is necessary for one-piece production and for a precise accuracy while medium size can produce bigger products with higher amount of items but with lower accuracy then the small size machine. The large size machine, which is specialized in lot and mass production, has the lowest accuracy comparing to the other types.

Planer: is a wood operating tool, which is used for manufacturing boards of even thickness that conjointly happen to be completely flat on either sides.Proxxon produces small and medium machines while Thecooltool Company produces only small machines, both companies are interested in developing small modules with very precise accuracy that is why they avoid producing large machine since precision of their product is one of their primary goals.
