In Greek Mythology, Pandora was the first women with humankind. She was sent by Zeus as a punishment for Prometheus stealing fire. The wife of Epimetheus, opened a box containing all the ills that can possibly plague people, she then released all the evils of human life because of her curiosity. Zeus then ordered Hephaestus to make a mix of earth and water to create a women as beautiful as a goddess. She was then sent to humankind and Epimetheus fell in love with her even though Prometheus, his brother, told him not to accept anything from the god
