Immigration has its advantages and disadvantages

Immigration has its advantages and disadvantages, and many people have different views in regard to if it is beneficial at all. Immigration is beneficial to a country as immigrants can boost a countries economy. For example skilled and successful immigrants that have taken up residence in the UK, for example, pay taxes towards the running of government and are therefore helping the economy. Highly educated or highly trained immigrants are a benefit to a country as they can become doctors, nurses, and teachers; which would not only be beneficial for the country but also for its people. Immigration is beneficial as it helps first world countries help those of third world countries. People who have fled from their home countries for reasons such as war, or poverty and other reasons, and can seek refuge in a first world country. Immigration can be beneficial to a country as many immigrants that travel to different countries bring with them their cultures and traditions and establish it in their new country.
