In metropolitan cities vehicle parking has a major concern in all residences buildings due to less parking area so we need a good parking system . vertical car parking is solution on parking a car this required only 2×5 m2 area each car will park in front of owner house. The requested a hydrologic lift which is used to lift and park the car and a one operator is required to observation .

The vertical car parking system is beneficial because it required less ground space as compare to normal packing and thus save the cost of residency . car parking is not only in residency but it can also imply in Hotels which having residency look . If guests come at over home they having problems to par a car so they can take benefit of this car parking system .This system imply on every residency due to which parking problem can be solve .

Engineering is a branch of science and technology where society expects lots of innovation and creativity from engineers, but today’s education system has become very stereotype which just follows the traditional teaching learning process. This need to be changed in order to have maximum contribution from engineering students to the society. Design engineering is an initiative taken by Gujarat Technological University in this direction with the help and guidance of the professors of IITS and the GTU Innovation council, we are looking ahead in moving on the path of innovation. This FDP is training session for all the faculties affiliated to GTU so that we can convey correct methods and strategies to our students so here we present the case study of the activities performed by us.

Design engineering is a general term covers multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, Mechanical, chemical engineers, Aeronautical, civil, Computer engineering. The uniting concept is the focus pf applying the engineering design process in which engineers develop new products or process with a primary emphasis on functional utility. While industrial designers may be responsible for the conceptual aesthetics and ergonomic aspects of a design. The design engineer works with a team of engineers and other designers to develop conceptual and detailed design. He may work with industrial designers and marketers to develop the product concepts and specification, and direct the design effort.

The design process starts with the understanding of the need and requirements of the customer and generates the purpose of introducing the concept into the market. It defines the targeted users, stakeholders and their required activities. The purpose is boosted by providing examples of events in form of stories which are relevant to the problems or that can define the need of the technology.
The targeted customer pool is listed as below. These are the people who will use or benefit with the proposed concept. All the people who directly or indirectly influence the design of the prototype are also included.

These are the people on whom we are depended for the smooth operation of the design process. The stakeholders are concerned with supplying resources at the time required during prototyping. The support can be any of the Monetary or in-kind forms.

Examples of events that are related to the origin of the concept are described below.

Happy story 1: Once Atif went to his relative house for a junction in his car but the parking lot was full so he has to park his car outside. He forget his keys in the car so he went back and saw that a towing van was on it’sway so he moved away his car and saved it.

Happy story 2: pulkit was playing hard ball cricket with his friends in his parking lot he hit a short which went straight to sharma uncle’s Audi!Lucky for him there was no damage done to the car
Sad story 1: Once Nikunj parked his car outside his building in a no parking zone. His car was towed from there and he had to pay a hefty fine .

Sad story 2: John brought a brand new car parked it in his society parking lot small children playing near the parking lot scratched the car and made cartoon on them with permanent marker.

The Ideation canvas is the first opportunity to test the embryonic stage of the prototype. It includes customer views and suggestions in reference to the context of the situation.
The targeted customer pool is listed is slightly different in the ideation sheet. These are the people who will use or benefit with the proposed concept. Also, these are the ones to whom the first model was proposed

Mind map is an organized chaos of the random thoughts of the mind. The map is a simple flow chart representation of the flow of ideas and process. Mind mapping jots down the main point of the brainstorming process. It is indeed the first physical image of the initial birth of the idea that is being written on paper.

To start a mind map, one central idea or theme in the middle of a blank page is first written down. All mind maps have this common starting point. Then the central idea is stemmed off by writing down anything that comes to the mind when thinking about the idea. It includes drawings, questions, comments, solutions, problems, etc. There are no limits. Everything that relates to the central theme or anything that enters the mind is written down.
