For the purposed of our assignment, we have selectedtwo countries, which is Malaysia and China. Malaysia is located in SoutheastAsia with 13 states overall. It is divide into two part, which is PeninsularMalaysia or West Malaysia and East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia comprises of11 states, while East Malaysia consist of Sabah and Sarawak, together they madeup 13 states. There are three Federal Territory namely, Kuala Lumpur as thecapital of Malaysia, Putrajaya as the Federal Government Administrative Centre,and Labuan as a “tax-free’ island which located off the coast of Sabah.
Malaysia is proud to be a multi-racial country, with about 31 million peopleand there are three major races in this country, which is Malay, Chinese andIndian. However, they are any other ethnic including Orang Asli (Indigenouspeople). The official language of Malaysia is Bahasa Melayu, but there are manyother languages and dialects used in this country including English. Islam isthe official religion of Malaysia, but the other faiths like Buddhism,Hinduism, Sikhism and more are practised freely by all Malaysian. For Malaysiancurrency, monetary transactions conducted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM or MYR) andsen. According to Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE),Malaysia major export products for the year 2017 was electrical and electronicproducts, followed by petroleum products. While major import products waselectrical & electronic products, followed by chemicals products. China, officially known as People’s Republicof China (PRC) is located in East Asia, the world’s largest population.

It isthe third largest country in the world, next to Canada and Russia. The capitalcity of China is Beijing with a population around 13.8 million. China has 34provincial-level administrative units, which is 23 provinces, 4 municipalities(Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing), 5 autonomous regions (Guangxi, InnerMongolia, Tibet, Ningxia, Xinjiang) and 2 special administrative regions (HongKong, Macau). With a population around 1.35 billion people, 93% of them are HanChinese. With those large populations, there are variety of religions includingBuddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and other Christian religions.
China hasinternational borders with 14 sovereign states. The official language of the Chinais Mandarin, but still there are many other languages used, includingPutonghua, Min, Cantonese, Hakka, Xiang and more. For Chinese currency, monetarytransactions conducted in Renminbi (RMB), which is also known as Chinese Yuan(CNY). China major exports products was computers, followed by broadcastingequipment. While its major import was electronic products, followed by crudepetroleum products.
