Education is exceptionally important in any person’s life. Education is what provides a person with fundamental skills to lead them in the direction of a successful and fulfilling life and career.

However, if education is not fair because of the standards of today then there will be no such thing as a fairer future. What is a fairer future? This is only the start of a fairer future. Not everyone has access to education. Of all the regions, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of exclusion.

Over a fifth of children between the ages of 6-11 are out of school, followed by a third of youth between the ages of 12-14. According to UIS data, almost 60% of youth between the ages of 15-17 are not in school. In every region, older youth face greater barriers to education. According to the global average, 15 to 17-year-olds are four times more likely to not be in school than children between the ages of 6-11.

This needs to change in order to accomplish equal societies and communities around the world. Every child around the world should be given the opportunities to thrive in an education system. Today more girls go to school than ever. Despite progress, everyone continues to face obstacles based on gender, ethnicity, poverty, disability and many more.

Education is a human right everyone should have access to this vital need regardless of what they look like or their beliefs. Education can contribute to a fairer future by ensuring every person is educated to believe that everyone should have equal rights. The issue begins with the wrong kind of information being introduced to young children. This need to be changed in order to contribute to a fairer future.
